Based between Madrague and Almanarre, the Spinout windsurfing school lets you try out windsurfing or improve your existing skills in some of the most beautiful locations in Var.
The site is famous for its favourable weather conditions: with 300 days’ sunshine a year and 250 days’ wind, windsurfers are in for a treat.
The spot’s orientation is also ideal, as it lets windsurfers travel all the way along the Almanarre Bay, from Hyères and La Pointe to the Giens Peninsula, facing Saint-Mandrier. Over 100 days’ westerly wind a year mean you can navigate in complete safety.
Beginners and hardened windsurfers alike will find a wind speed that’s right for them.
The windsurfing school at the International campsite, 1737 route de la Madrague, 83400 Giens has windsurfing boards for hire, lessons and courses for beginners and experienced windsurfers, and lessons for children aged 8 and over.

Spinout School

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced windsurfer, and whether you are a child, a teenager or an adult, Spinout offers lessons suitable for everyone, for a few hours or over a few days. If you prefer to go it alone, Spinout also rents out everything you need to enjoy yourself: sea kayaks, paddles, mountain bikes or e-bikes, boards, sails, equipment, etc.

Not enough wind? No problem: you can also rent out a stand-up paddleboard or a sea kayak. You can also visit the Giens Peninsula and its underwater wildlife: introductions to instructorship, underwater biology & photo with Divin’Giens. This diving school will take you to the depths of the magical world of wrecks from ships like the Donateur, the Michel C, the Ville de Grasse, the Cimentier and its gorgeous paintwork… A real pleasure to behold!
